History

For over 40 years the products and solutions delivered by the Solera companies have helped the insurers, bodyshops, assessors, part providers and salvage agents to streamline business operations and to generate the great value for the end users.

Here are the most important facts of the Solera history:

2015

  • Solera acquires DMEautomotive; the leading supplier of tailor-made communication tools.

  • Audatex implemeneted two unique applications:

    • AudaParts – a platform designed to support the process of spare part ordering;
    • AudaWatch – makes it possible for bodyshop management, insurance companies and the car owner to check on the process of car repair.

2014

  • Solera acquires CAP Automotive; the leading supplier of vehicle evaluations (at present as well), residual values and specifications for new and used cars in Great Britain.

  • Solera acquires Autosoft S.r.l. the company that provides solutions for claims processes in Italy.

  • Audatex Poland implemented the following new services:

    • AudaVin Plus – a car identification with the detailed data regarding the car's factory fitted options;
    • AudaMobile – an application that makes it possible to prepare a calculation on the mobile equipment – tablet.

2013

  • Solera acquires HyperQuest, Inc.; the company that provides solutions for the claims processes on the U.S. market.

  • Audatex Poland introduces new communication platform that streamline the claims process. We implemented the following services based on this platform:

    • AudaExpress – streamlines the calculation of the simplified claims;
    • AudaAudyt – helps to verify the estimate verification.

2012

  • Audatex provides iPhone/iPad's and Android based tablet's users with the mobile calculation system.

  • Solera takes over assets from PS Holdings, L.L.C. to enhance cloud-based services.

  • Audatex mobile application ( iPhone, Android ) makes it possible to track down the car repair process.

2011

  • Solera purchases the majority stake in Sinexia Corporación Tecnológica, S.A., a Spanish provider of solutions for insurers and assessors.

  • Solera acquires K&S Beheer B.V., the Dutch leading supplier of bodyshop management system.

  • Solera purchases See Progress and New Era Software LLC, American bodyshop management systems.

  • Solera completes acquisition of Explore Information Services, LLC, leading U.S. provider of innovative data and analytics services used by automotive property and casualty insurers.

  • Solera posts revenue of $684.7 million.

2010

  • Solera moves its headquarters from San Diego to Dallas.

  • Solera acquires Market Scan Holding B.V., a leading data analytics and software company servicing the Dutch insurance industry.

  • Solera posts revenues of $ 613,3 million.

2009

Solera takes over AutoOnline, a leading European eSalvage vehicle exchange platform which brings together buyers and sellers of salvage vehicles.
Solera posts revenue of $557,7 million.

2008

Solera Holding operate in 50 countries across 6 continents.
Solera's global annual revenue accounts for $ 539,9 million.

2007

Solera Holdings, Inc.(NYSE: SLH) completes initial $420 million public offering.
Audatex enters additional 14 countries.

2006

Solera Holdings, Inc. Together with leading U.S. private equity company GTCR Golder Rauner, LLC acquires ADP Claims Services Group – the owner of Audatex.

2004

ADP Claims Services Group takes over ABZ, the Audatex partner in the Netherlands.

1998

ADP Claims Services Group purchases Audatex and expands its operations in Europe, Africa and Middle East, in additional 16 new countries.
In the United States an automated business process application is implemented.

1997

Audatex establishes its operations in Poland.

1992

ADP Claims Services Group acquires Hollander, the U.S. provider of auto recycling and parts management system.
Audatex expands its business to 10 additional countries in Europe.

1986

Audatex establishes business operations in the United Kingdom.

1985

ADP Claims Services Group acquires AutoTrak to expand its offer to include total loss valuation service.

1983

Audatex establishes Sidexa business operations in Belgium.

1979

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP) Claims Services Group in the U.S. acquires the licensing rights for distribution of Itel Corporation products.

1966

Audatex together with SwissRe purchases Audatex Reuter, the world's first automated vehicle repair estimating application.
